ENGINEER

Position
type – salary/ commission
The Sales Engineer is responsible for new business development
and the cultivation of existing accounts. In addition, he/she
is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships
with contacts from industry related fields including but not limited
to; general contractors, manufacturers, rep firms, architects,
consultants, and distributors. The Sales Engineer may be responsible
for all sales particular to a geographic region or vertical market.
The Sales Engineer reports to the Sales Manager who reports directly
to the Director of Operations
Duties
Include:
Cold calling
Maintaining Customer Relations
Developing Marketing Solutions
Prospecting
Customer Presentations
Proposal Development and Manufacturer Recommendations
Maintaining Sales Forecasts
General
requirements:
2-3 years sales experience in the communications cabling industry
or related field
Excellent oral and written skills
Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Word,
Power Point, MS Excel
Internet skills
Self-motivating
Strong organizational skills
Manufacturer/ BISCI training and certification a plus
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
with customers and co-worker
